“We used Lauren Hannah Photography for both our engagement session and wedding day pictures. We had to postpone our wedding 3 times due to COVID and Lauren was so accommodating and always responded quickly to our emails. We are both very awkward when in front of a camera, but Lauren made us feel so at ease the entire process felt effortless. She has such unique ideas and beautiful photo locations! Lauren is extremely talented, and our pictures are absolutely stunning. I couldn’t stop smiling while looking at them!! We got the 12hr package, which included reception coverage. The candid photos of our guests having fun on the dance floor was well worth the extra hours. Her second shooter was also fantastic, and it was an absolute pleasure getting to work with them both. Lauren is absolutely amazing! She is fun, friendly, and a complete professional to work with. I did a lot of research on Edmonton photographers prior to meeting with Lauren. One of the most important things for our wedding was to make sure that we had beautiful, timeless photographs that my husband and I could look back on over the years and remember our special day. We definitely ended up with them! My husband and I were both very nervous to be in front of the camera, but Lauren provided perfect direction and had us feeling comfortable and at ease in no time! My husband and I were both a little nervous about taking photos because we are not very comfortable at posing, but Lauren made it so incredibly easy. Our Engagement photo shoot was super fun because of her and we were blown away by the incredible shots she got of us. When we received our wedding photos, I was overwhelmed with emotions. The photos captured so many feelings from our wedding day perfectly. I was overwhelmed with love when I saw the precious moments captured of my husband and I, I laughed when I saw the numerous party pictures and I cried when I saw the photos of my father with tears in his eyes as I spoke to him, or of my husband kissing my head comforting me as my brother and father spoke about my mother who has passed away.
There were so many times that Lauren went above and beyond which we will never forget. I mentioned I wanted to do photos at my family farm (which was an hour and half drive out of town) and Lauren was immediately on board for no extra charge! We basically had to beg her to let us at least give her gas money for the drive. We thought we may take photos for an hour or so at the engagement session, but Lauren just kept shooting for hours until the sun went down. We even ran towards the lake to capture the perfect silhouette photo under the sunset. On the wedding day, Lauren photographed for an insane amount of time (I think it was something around 13 or 14 hours??) just so that she could capture my Ukrainian dance group taking part in our tradition of dancing the "Kolomeyka". After the wedding was over and we got together, Lauren gave ME a thank-you card and gift for hiring her. This just exemplified what a special person she is. But the most amazing gift Lauren provided to me was something she did privately with my maid of honor. Lauren made sure to take a photo of me posing identical to a wedding photo I love of my mother. I remember wondering why she was making me pose this certain way. A few months later, my best friend gifted me with a side by side print of my mother and I on our wedding days, this is when I found out about the secret Lauren and my friend discussed months earlier. It is a print I will cherish for the rest of my life."
