When I first met Brittney and Arnold for coffee I knew I wanted to be their wedding photographer. I could tell they were fun-loving and lively but also that they were sweet and caring. They have a great connection and I knew that their wedding day would be elegant and a ton of fun! I was so delighted when they chose me to capture their special day and now I am excited to share some of my favourite images from their incredible fall wedding at St Josaphat Cathedral and the Polish Hall!
Brittney & Arnold started the day with a beautiful Chinese Tea Ceremony. I love the way this tradition honours family on the wedding day.
The ceremony at St Josaphat Cathedral was beautiful with it’s rituals (the crowning, the candles and the ceremonial walk) as well as the moments shared between the couple. I love catching a smile or giggle during the ceremony.
These two have the most incredible smiles!
We got some pretty heavy rain most of the day so we headed indoors for some shots inside the University. The students in this shot are studying as Brittney & Arnold danced under the chandelier. They may have been less than thrilled at our interruption.
We got a fun surprise when we came across Arnold’s fraternity’s firetruck at the U of A where we happened to be taking pictures.
Thankfully we got a break from the crazy weather just in time to get some photos with these two with the amazing fall colours!
This is such a fun wedding party!
The amazing Cheremosh Dance group performed at the reception. This is the second Cheremosh cast member’s wedding I have photographed and the second time I have seen them preform. It is mind blowing every time!
